Real Life

I guess the point in having a blog is to actually use it.....it has been a month, so I thought I would add to it. Anyways, I just got back from a trip to Baltimore. Scott had business over there, so I tagged along, just to escape for a few days! Scott worked during the day, so I had the days to myself. The first day I had to force myself out of bed at 11:30. It sounds bad, but in real life it was only 8:30 on the west coast. I took a shower, and actually put lotion on after. That is such a luxury. I found a movie theater, and saw "Juno", and then went to the glorious store....Target!!! Scott could not believe out of all places to go, I went there. It was such an enjoyable experience to be able to look at things. This sounds really pathetic, but I had so much fun. It was nice to get away for a few days, but I did miss my boys. It is amazing how refreshed I felt when #1, I did not work out, and #2 I didn't have to run around with 5 boys all day. Today was my first day back, and I am so exhausted! I spent the day trying to get reorganized, clean the house, take care of the kids, teach a class, bake cookies, and make dinner. (I had to bake the cookies, because I really wanted cookie dough...not because I am a super mom!) Now, I am definitely not complaining about my life, but it makes me try to think what I actually did with my time before kids! I could have been such a productive person if I put the energy into what I was doing back then as I do now. Anyways, it was a good break from my "real life", but it is good to be back. KC is at a new stage in which he is into EVERYTHING. I really don't think I need to explain, because the pictures pretty much sum it up. Laughter is a very important part of life, and my days are filled with it. These little people surprise me with new things to laugh at every day. (I do admit that I don't laugh at every situation, sometimes it is quite the opposite reaction, but my kids are pretty funny!)

About Me

My photo
OK...here it goes. I am a mother of 5 crazy boys....ages 10 months to 11 years. I have been married for twelve and a half years to an even crazier boy!!! I am not sure how he has put up with me for so long, and then I remember that he is as big of a goofball as me! I get to stay at home with the boys, but I work about 6 whole hours a week teaching fitness classes. I think I am funny when I remind Scott that I am independently wealthy (if you knew how much I made, you might think it is funny too)! I do love to work out, and without it I would be about 500 pounds and completely insane. Well, that about sums it up. I am looking forward to keeping a record of the completely abnormal behavior of my perfect family!
